“[...] Ladies and gentlemen, Haitian people, people of Arcahaie which is under the sun,
May 18, 1803, here in Arcahaie, the needle of Catherine Flon materialized the union of the children of Haiti. This sublime dream that our ancestors had to maintain and consolidate our existence as a free Nation.
It is true that the conflict made us lose the road that has been paved for us to allow us to move forward, despite everything, every time that the timing was bad, the gathering took us on the right path, the path of the victory. Ratification meeting of the Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe was marked by a climate of suspicion. Several members have denounced their colleagues who allegedly received bribes to vote for Mr. Lamothe.
MPs Danton Leger Leogane and Emmanuel Bourjolly Aquinas launched these serious charges while the session was broadcast by the public media.
MP Aquinas Immanuel Bourjolly publicly accused Legislators of accepting bribes to vote for Lamothe. You are corrupt, launched Mr. Bourjolly the anger of many of these colleagues. The senators ratified on Wednesday the Haitian budget finance bill for 2011-2012 with 14 votes in favor, 4 against and 4 abstentions.
